Terms & Conditions


1. Introduction

  • These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in and use of the Human Operated Certification™ (the “Certification”) provided by [Your Company Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By applying for or using the Certification badge, companies (“you” or “Certified Company”) agree to abide by these Terms.


2. Purpose of Certification

  • The Certification verifies that your company incorporates genuine human contributions alongside artificial intelligence in the delivery of products and services. The Certification aims to build consumer trust, transparency, and accountability.


3. Eligibility

  • Only legally registered businesses may apply.

  • Applicants must demonstrate meaningful human involvement in the creation, delivery, or management of their services.

  • Applications may be denied if criteria are not met.

  • Client can challenge findings, asking for a second and third audit within 30 days. On a third failure, client is ineligible for consideration and auditing for 1 year from the date of the third failure.

4. Verification and Audits

  • Initial Verification: Applicants undergo a documented review of their operations, including disclosures of how human and AI resources are used.

  • Random Audits: Certified Companies are subject to random or scheduled audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Deep Audits: In cases of suspected non-compliance, in-depth audits may be conducted.

  • Cooperation: Certified Companies must cooperate with verification requests, provide requested documentation, and allow reasonable access to information.

  • Audit Process Limitation: Badge and audit methodology are proprietary to Human Operated, with restrictions on unauthorized use, reproduction, or adaptation.


5. Certification Badge Usage

  • Certified Companies are granted a limited, revocable license to display the Human Operated Certification badge on marketing materials, websites, and platforms.

  • Badge use must comply with brand guidelines provided by us.

  • Misuse of the badge (e.g., misleading placement, unauthorized modification) may result in suspension or revocation.


6. Obligations of Certified Companies

  • Maintain accurate records demonstrating compliance with Certification standards.

  • Promptly notify us of any material changes in operations that affect human involvement.

  • Submit to audits when requested.

  • Cease badge use immediately upon suspension, expiration, or termination of Certification.


7. Limitations of Liability

  • We make no guarantees of increased business, search ranking, or revenue as a result of Certification.

  • The Certification does not replace compliance with laws, industry regulations, or contractual obligations.

  • We disclaim liability for damages resulting from reliance on Certification status.


8. Termination

  • Certification may be revoked for non-compliance, refusal of audit, or misuse of the badge.

  • Company will be notified of impending badge revocation and will have 30 days from the first subject communication to either resolve the conflict or opt out of certification(s).

  • You may voluntarily withdraw at any time by written notice.


9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake City.
